  1. Hi there,
I’ve really enjoyed reading your blog. I’m also apart of the Mental Health Writer’s Guild.

I have a new project coming up and I really need the help of some bloggers to raise awareness and money for mental health disorders through artwork.

Can you please check out this post for more info and comment below it if you’re interested. https://bylaurenhayley.wordpress.com/2015/01/05/calling-all-bloggers/

I’d really appreciate your support and hope to make as much of an impact as possible.

    1. Hi Hayley! Thankyou for your kind words. I took some time out to try and function in this world they call society! Not sure anyone fully knows what they’re doing and I’m certain everyone is actually ‘winging it’😂 xxid love to hear more about your artwork! I did a series of portraits based on the depths of mental illness xx

  2. Hi. I really found this interesting to read as I have had many admissions to mental health acute wards and I know that it is hard to be there at the time but let me assure you it is surviveable. I have gained so much from my time on the wards with regards to empathy for my fellow man, a greater understanding of the impact of a mental health in-patient history and how that never goes away and the amazing strength tha can be drawn from your fellow patients. I hope you find comfort in your reading but would urge you not to feel guilty about anything. You are human, we are flawed and weak at times but we can learn and grow. x.

    1. Thank you so much for your kind words!😊 Thankfully I’m no longer a full time ‘inmate’ lol… And I have so much more to share… Your comment is very encouraging and I will speak and tell my story. Sometimes as I write, I feel those old feelings and I want my readers to understand where my head once was and yes.., go on to help and inspire others!! Thank you so much! 🌸

    2. Thank you. Yes, I agree that I too have far more understanding and compassion towards people in general, for everyone by greater or lesser measure is going through struggles we know nothing about. I feel less inclined to judge. Thanks for reading 🌸

  3. This is a worthwhile project. All of us need to understand that our psyches are complex and we enjoy degrees of wellness and illness, along a continuum. It is not either or, or black and white. I will read with interest.
